Mo Money Bike Show, Memphis, TN

This is a day late and a dollar short, but I thought I would share a photo of the Club Choice trophy from our annual bike show here in Memphis. Great event and lots of cool bikes - good variety of...

Re: triumph 1970 650 timing side bearing

Easiest way to do this is to bake the case half in the oven. Obviously not while your wife is home. Seriously, though, you need to heat the entire case half evenly, so maybe outside on the BBQ...

Re: I need help with engine rebuild in So Cal. $$

I see somebody mentioned Big-D in Dallas, TX. If it were me - and I work on my own shit - I would have Big-D do the rebuild. Not cheap, but the best possible job.

Re: I need help with engine rebuild in So Cal. $$

Trophy Motorcycles in San Diego can do it - but they just closed and are going to revamp Rocket Cycles and sell new Triumphs. That being said, they will still work on vintage bikes - as for Tim.

Re: 65 Triumph T120C (TT)

That bike is KILLER! No way I would go back to stock. The world has enough stock Triumphs. That looks like a real TT bike that was raced. It even has class C tires on it. Only thing I would do...

Re: 65 Triumph T120C (TT)

Can't wait to see your progress! I just built a '64 and I can tell you it won't be easy to source a stock '65 tank. That being said, you should try Big D cycle in Dallas. They have a HUGE...

2000 M750 Ducati Monster

This may not be the best place to sell it, but my motorcycles interests are broad like the folks on this board, so here goes. Selling my one owner 2000 Ducati Monster cafe racer. I need to make...

Re: '68 T120 cylinders, how does it look?

You will be much happier after a full rebuild and you will trust your bike. Try it yourself! When you get stuck or do not have the experience or tools, get Big D to help. Most of this you can do...

Re: show me your flat trackers and desert racers

Well, yes, they are never done, but specifically - I am getting some wheels built using Akront style alloy shouldered rims (that counts for at least 2%). Also, want to put a different headlight on it...

Re: 1964 Triumph T100SC

Yup. Do the full engine rebuild. Need a name in Cali? I know a few folks I trust - or send it out to Ed Valiket - he is a master machinist on old Brit engines.

first I heard of this issue on...

Re: show me your flat trackers and desert racers

We don't have deserts here in Memphis either, but I don't know any better. Here is my recently completed (well, 98% completed) 1964 Desert Sled. Just finished the 400 mile off road break in period....

Re: 1964 Triumph T100SC

Mine was not much to look at, but I did love riding it. Did the Viewfinders GP and the Elsinore GP on it - not quite like it was in this photo, but pretty much.

Re: 1964 Triumph T100SC

Great project! I used to race a T100SC in Cali (1962) about 15 years ago. I sold it, though. Then I regretted it and bought an SC project about 8 years ago. Well, its so far on the back burner...

Re: 1964 Triumph Desert Sled Project

Yeah, that is completely cool! Wish I could do one on this bike, but I don't even live on the West Coast anymore. Even if I did, most of these events are gone. Did the Barstow to Vegas "ride" in...

Re: 1967 Triumph Daytona build advice

Looks like you have some long tubes there buddy. Are they 35mm? They also look kind of thick, but may be the photo. Stock tubes are freely available, should be no problem.

Re: Cafe Racers?

Yes.

They are flat head engines! Winner of most bizarre Italian motorcycle:
-72 degree
-flat head V twin
-belt drive cam
-6 speed gearbox

Crazy.

Re: Triumph 650 2 carb conversion?

It depends on what you want to build. If you are making a chopper, bobber, slider, brat bike or whatever these things are - just keep it simple and use a single carb. You will get more performance...
