stock brake system uses a -3 brake line hole size

58 to 62 uses a 1 1/2 diameter wheels cylinder

63 to 72 uses a 1 1/4 diameter wheel cylinder --

both with the same size master 3/4 inch...

it would be in your best interest to up date the charging system to the evo 32 amp as every bike shop has a regulator if you run the roads and your not stuck waiting on the mail for an 11 amp to show...

the gearing is what we would do the cam is a dud - the A2 was developed for unleaded - its power range is 1400 to 4200

just so you know standard gearing the 74 will not pull it in 6 gear as an .086 ratio hi gear

you need to gear the bike down to use a 6 speed

evos contrary to what some think cant pull the 6...

ok the skinnie on this is 4 different axle sleeves 1936 to 57 - 1958 to 62 - 1963 to 1966

then your set up 1967 to 72 the 2 spacers on the axle sleeve and the nuts / lock flat washer are the same...

in a real shop as i see it we buy cams with out the gear as I have them all as stuff left over from many jobs

reason its cheaper to buy that way direct in volumn and installing the customers gear...

A and F or J they are geared towards leaded fuel machines not that a 35 / 40 year design is an issue but the lobe separation angle comes into play with unleaded and alcohol as an additive - its set...

it comes down to what grit was used on the bores - and what style piston ring and the piston to wall clearance - for brake in miles
