Re: triumph nitro engine

I like the "get creative with a drill" statement Wes. Brings a tear to my eye.

Re: unequal length exhausts

Wondering how to get equal volume on 2 exhaust pipes? Forget trying with a tape measure. Take the shorter of the 2 and block off (duct tape) the spicket end. Fill with water. Pour into the other pipe...

Triumph trike plans available anywhere?

The old bolt on Triumph trike rear ends that maybe AAE or any of the other 60's manufacturers used to produce. Interested in plans or pictures to do research on. Any info would be appreciated....

Re: What is "Flowing Oil"

How about the term whilst, took me a long time to figure out it meant while. The factory manual is hard to figure out. Petro tank, spanier, and such will make you crazy.

Re: Water cooled HD's coming!

Bet the cylinders are next. With tighter tolerances, HD should be able to produce a smoother running engine. The purist are going to be livid.

Re: Missing shovel motor, please help!!!

Someone got some spaining to do. Did you choose the shipper? Insured? Can't imagine an engine (with bad tracking info) sitting on the wrong dock too long before someone adopts it. You might end up OK...

Re: 1985 Guzzi cafe build allowed here?

Looks like a nice build so far. Wondering how you'll be able to get LSR gearing with a driveshaft? Keep up the good work.

Re: Bonneville Speed Week 2013, who's going?

Stix, sorry we missed you. That would have been more than likely the team winding down and relaxing at the Bonneville Inn. Wish you would have introduced yourself and joined us for a barley pop....

Re: Water cooled HD's coming!

"unit" was my quote not his. Thought it would be easier to explain/ understand what I heard. He said the separate engine/ trans as we knew it wouldn't be around on the "new" HD's. I agree it seems to...

Re: Water cooled HD's coming!

Take it for what it's worth, but the rumor I heard was the Ultra Classic will have a wet head w/ the lowers being the radiators. Seems legit to me, as the Ultra would be the logical choice, with...

Re: Bonneville & LSR Update

Truck, didn't know about your record. Congrats. I'll be there Sept. 28-29th as a spectator for the first time. 6 hr drive compared to a 24 hr drive to Bonneville. When it gets closer to the event I...
