The Metmachex is worth it, really nice bit of gear. They come with a poly red cleveblok set installed. Been running one about 4 years with no issues..but still that 5/8 shaft.

No reason for heat but a hydraulic press wouldn't hurt.
Legs will straighten easy like gravy, the bottoms are going to be the bear, down where it looks like heat was already applied.

I don't have any clear enough to get much out of, I think this was a dumpster springer from a wreck.

Front leg is easy enough, easier with a frame table or similar. Cut the top at the weld, cut...

Newer than your hunt, but I cut out the derake, raked it 6 degrees more, added a couple of inches, brakeline thru a new stem etc.

if you only hear it in neutral it would likely be one of the bearings inside 5th gear, but i'd say clutch hub. trannys don't usually make creaking sounds cept down on the corner of 4th and washington.

great Scotty i appreciate it. i bought it in 95 i think, from a guy that won it in raffle, where it was labeled a Pat Kennedy. i know he showed it in his catalogs of the era, but i dont save stuff...

they dont mix. it turns to jelly almost immediately.

some natural rubber seals will swell if silicone dot 5 is used. brembo, isr, to name a few are adament not to use the wrong fluid, glycol...

learn to screwdriver start it like a car, but its common and its probably the relay as mentioned. get a spare and try it, they dont cost much.

try a jumper straight to the solenoid from battery...
