Re: The Best BSA Bobber Pictures Post

My first bike, a '65 Lightning, had those fork covers between the triples and I had to use a similar headlight bracket which kept cracking. I was told the covers were Hornet parts. Is that your...

Re: Indian scout pictures thread

It must work, but the stock points with this (https://starklite.com/indian-motorcycle/indian-2-cylinder-electronic-ignition/) would require a lot less work to put together.

Re: Indian scout pictures thread

That's interesting, it looks like the mag is driven from the generator spot. I wonder how it goes at half engine speed?

( hope this reply isn't as poor as mine in #41)

Re: 84 evo softail

Retarding the mag is good when you are riding, too. I rode a friend's manual retard magneto 1963 BSA 650 last week and retarding it while riding uphill while slow really gave it some pep.

Re: Bonneville & LSR Update

Alp just posted an average speed of 168.139 MPH, should be a record in A-VF (Special Construction- Vintage Fuel), with the bike shown above.

Old record was 149.973 from 2018.
