if you have, is it indexed to the cam with a small dimple that stops the cup from moving when running ?
if so, you can re-time the...

your dead right, Brazing leaves a real neat finish on the joints,.. I have had a few 45 frames which were all but the odd tab or bracket brazed & needed no filling or grinding to clean up before...

38mm Lectron was factory fitted to some sportsters in the 70's as a factory performance add on for a while, they worked well & the new generation Lectrons are well worth looking at, a tad expensive...
