questions. just bought an evo with bdl 3" belt drive. rode it bout 50 miles, and the front pully wobbled off, buggerin up the splines on the steel insert, and totally destroying the alternator...

started this with a bsa superrocket motor into a 45 frame. money ran dry, and the drivetrain went to a bloke in england that put the 63 big valve thick flange superrocket back into its original...

this one may have been a better choice. since youre gonna make the motor mount, just bolt everything up, and line the output sprocet up with the trans sprocket. seen it done many...

you mentioned it was new. my new rebuild did the same thing. it was spitting oil out the primary case vent bad., and smoking out one side. it stopped after i rode it for a while. maybe your rings...
