So I mated up a 06 gear set to the Evo 5 speed case, works perfect. I built the complete trans for $300 ebay shopping.

Thank you Nottso! I picked up a evo softail 5 speed case and I thought that was the case, no pun intended, that the later shafts and door and stuff would fit.

YES you can switch the vent and return lines to the tank. It doesn't matter. I always build my tanks with two fittings at the top; one for the return and one for the vent. Of course the supply is on...

I agree taller is better for rough surfaces if you have the correct tire and it looks like you do have plenty of sidewall. Dirt bikes run 21's and work better that way. Try it out an see. I...

Looks great! Keep the tall wheel, its no better or worse than a 19. Probably better and it looks better IMO. Dig the bike BTW.
