Well just waiting on heads to be completed. Had to repaint the gas tank and he changed the rear fender up on me so I had some fab and paint on it also. Trying to wrap up loose ends while we wait for...

Been awhile so here is a update. Tore the top end off, cylinders have been bored to 50 over and new pistons and rings installed. Heads are at the machine shop new valves, seats and guides. Went...

I'm assuming that all your spokes have the same sized shoulder where they attach to the hub. I don't know if it makes a difference,I would think not. The shoulders on the old sportster hub are 2...

Can this be done cuz it is giving me a fit. Lacing a late style sportster hub into a 21" wheel. It lace's just fine in a 19" wheel but every time I attempt it on a 21" wheel 2 spokes are just right...

After a lot of thought on this.....the top end is coming off. Front and back no more half ass, no more saving money. When we put this back together the ring gap was very marginal like maybe even out...

Put the pushrods back in tonight, squirted a little oil in the cylinder to help seal the rings. Compression came up to 100-105 pounds. Yes the bike should be running but I'm still scratching my head...

Dave bike was not ran it was only fired up a couple of times, not ridden.
