Thanks Joe i was kinda worried i had 80" wheels put in my 75 flh cases and used the stock cylinders didnt want to change out the base studs if i dont have to.

I have a question. I had my cylinders stock harley 74" bored to 80" and have heard they crack but i never seen it anybody have them crack on you? thanks. craig

I took the kicker assembly off my 75 flh and put a different cover on no problem its electric seems fine if that helps.

cast pistons
I`m going thru the topend of a 74" shovel and was wondering whats the best cast pistons? the bottom end is good so i dont want to have to rebalance the flywheels. thanks craig

I was looking at a set of ultima wheels moneys tight. I all ready bought a set of there dual plug heads for 74 or 80 cylinders I farm and get a harvest bonus so thats what i use for this build. S&S...

Build a 84" shovel.
I have a S&S 74" and want to get 84" so my understanding is get 4 5/8 flywheels and bore the jugs 0.60 over and run 80" pistons is this correct?

I put new clutch plates in also alto reds but i have made sure that all adjustments on the clutch are correct. I can put the kicker back on and see i guess.

tranny trouble
Maybe a dumb question but will removing a kicker on a rachet top 4 speed change the way it shifts for any reason? It shift good before i took it off now first to second i have to shift at alot lower...
