It looks like you were rewelding or replacing the lower fat bob mount. I've got the same frame and that bracket is cut in half. Any source for the brackets?

Chopper Dave's chopper frame for Harley big twin

Frame is a chopper Dave's hand made recreation of the old motorshop frames.

Single downtube, looped rear section surrounds the axle plates. Extremely well made. Nice clean lines.

I used this setup, bunch of differant people sell them on ebay. You drill and tap your lower tree, and bolt the slotted disc down. It works well. The stainless cups look nice too.

I made my Z bars out of stainless, and they stay as shiny as when I polished them. I rub some polish on by hand everytime I clean it, which is not often, but they stay nice.
