Cheers, Dan.

Re: Blown Triumph Triple Chopper / Bar Hopper Build

Finished mocking up the right side exhausts today. I spent some time running a tube with a great CLR over the top of the bend that pops over the foot peg but it just looked too manufactured. I am...

Re: Blown Triumph Triple Chopper / Bar Hopper Build

I've been looking at how I will handle ignition advance without an ECU. This is the ignition timing gear and you can see the timing marks stamped on it.

My question is how do the marks correspond...

Re: Blown Triumph Triple Chopper / Bar Hopper Build

Got the front mudguard made up and mounted. In previous posts I gave my intention to use the beat up oil cooler around the rear wheel. It was a nice shape but ugly with all the faults so I worked out...

Re: What am I not understanding to fire a plug on the bench?

OK, I have a new coil now. I tested this and I got 1 ohm on the primary and 30k ohms on the secondary with the plug caps on.

I put this coil and spark plug that I am using for this bench test...

Re: What am I not understanding to fire a plug on the bench?

Re: What am I not understanding to fire a plug on the bench?

Brilliant, will do that.

Thanks for the replies...

Re: What am I not understanding to fire a plug on the bench?

Yes, I checked the coil, both of them and the plug. I'm not sure what I am doing wrong and I hope the condenser will help resolve the issue.

I get a heavy spark at the battery terminal when I...
