Stay with a mild cam, and it will last close to stock, if you don't twist it past 6000 very often. I got to 70,000 with a 4 3/4'' by running a stock cam. Cam wouldn't let me rev over 5300, still...

Problem with a small micron number is you're in by-pass sending unfiltered oil back to the tank and then back into the engine more often and longer.

While you're looking at that other filter you should check it's specifications. The reason you use a interchange is to get the same micron and if a bypass, which these filters are, the same bypass...

The FLHT/FLT lower triple clamp has been matched to a early top clamp, bad bad bad wrong causes dangerous de-rake. You need to source a early lower triple clamp, to fix this.

I am also in the using red or blue Loctite. Clean out the end of the main direct, and just start seal then add the Loctite to outside of the seal, and set it in from flush. Let it set for 24 hours...

Usually n14yc if your're beating on a hi comp hot rod n12yc. Find N14YC no R for resistor. Now to talk reading plugs, these are air cooled engines, the nice water cooled engine TAN is in my opinion...

No oil in the cylinders MOM. It will be fine. What's going to be nice is how easy it is to re-torque with the crows foot, it reaches around the push rods easily. Govmule no finger crossing needed....
