Another question on voltage regulator location

We're fab'ing a custom exhaust for my trike project that runs front the front exhaust pipe down between the front legs and then runs it aft under the primary. It takes out the traditional location...

Tank is ~ 2.5 gal...but I will have an aux tank in the aft section of the trike as well

My 78 is a 74". So the 66 cylinders will work? I was unsure of oil paths at the base as well of head alignment.

What are the differences between shovel cylinders from the generator motors to the nose cone motors? Can I use cylinders designed for a 66 shovel with 78 cases and heads?

Can anybody school me on why some end oilers have a plate tack welded inside and some do not? My stock 78 has no plate... Replacements to fit the same year do.... -70A vs -70????
