forget an S&S boat anchor, go for a Lectron,.. best performing carb made,.. more power, smooth even running, economical with fuel, a real choke system, easy starting, no messing with them, straight...

if you want a Caff frame you should go with a Norton Featherbed frame, as used on all good,real caff racers, plenty online if you look, this one I found gives basic diamensions that might help...

powder coat it, it looks far better than rattle cans... it can be over painted if you want later, it can be removed although not as easy as with paint, there is hi-temp masking tape that you can mask...

as there is no 'Dog Gear' in the kickstart assembly, do you mean either the Mainshaft starter gear (33430-50), the starter clutch (33560-75) or the starter crank gear ( 33350-36) ?

if that is all you have at the clutch lifter finger end, you are missing parts, there should be a bearing that the finger pushes against & 'witches hat' oil thrower (in one form or another) held to...

that grooving will be ya problem, when the clutch is released the plates to some degree will not want to slide out into their relaxed state & when you release the clutch they will be jumping back...

all good except the oil pressure gauge pissed it's pants & spewed all the gauge oil...

personally I prefer BSA's over Triumphs,.. the A10 range are lovely bikes and built I believe with better overall quality, Triumph owners will not agree but as I said, it's MY personal preferance,......
