I picked up a flathead frame and british gearbox....

I picked up a flathead frame and british gearbox. Should be picking up a sportster front end and wheels shortly. The goal is to start building this with my uncle in the next month.

Thanks for the tips. I surfaced carb bowls, backed out slide stop screws 1 turn more after it moved slide and buttoned up vacuum line and it fired and idled.

Looks like it was warped surfaces,...

Not sure if it will fit or not really, I was hoping someone on here has some info on it.
I Would rather not shorten the frame.
I figured the iron head would be a better size than a big twin.

Picking up steam on this project again.
Found a hardtail Iron head project for not a lot of money.

The goal is to use the Iron head Hardtail as a starter and move motor mounts and tranny mounts....

That's the kind of info I was looking for. Found a bunch of wla parts and frame a couple of hours from me and a decent price for what they are. I also just happen to have a bunch of map wheels laying...

For what it's worth... All wires and connections clean? New Properly gapped plugs, I welded a washer in the end of the drag pipes to create a bit of back...

Update: opened up the breather and it fixed about 80% of the issue thanks a million. Still have a small drip comming under exhaust so I may weld a little drip deflector.

I like the thicker stuff 6-11oz+ cut and set on top of thin foam baseball stitched to the pan but it's expensive and allot of work to punch holes in the pan and the cowhide. More...

Doubt plates are stuck together but couldn't hurt to pull them out resurface a bit on smooth concrete , soak in oil and reassemble.
