Word. Muriatic is no more unfriendly to the environment than vinegar. Key is to use a little "base" to neutralize it. If you do, it is, as much as water. You need to seal it up quick after you etch...

I have seen his stuff up close, incomplete welds (not even good ones at that), neck angle way the fuck off. The delivery was months late, even though no one was tight on them. Caution.
