I was told (If I remember correct) by Steve White in Washington state that VL has one more coil,don't know about spring pressure. I bought some NOS one from him a few years ago

Don't even think you have had an idea for the first time, because some oldtimer has already done it. Probadly only with a set of torches,hammer,vise and a file. Pretty humbling . Thanks for posting...

I have 34 VL That was my daily rider for a few years in my youth.Rode it to work everyday and would go to all the harley events (frog jumps.redwood run ect) Would just carry oil with me , the motor...

Sherm's Is very good, I have had Global Plating In Fremont do somethings for me That came out nice,Tell them your picky.they worked wit hme. Stay away from Richmond they ruined my stuff years ago
