Yeah '78 would be different, that would be 4 speed FL/FX frame thus solidly and independently mounted engine & trans, FXR/FLT is rubber mount engine with trans bolted to engine and trans mounted to...

I agree with VonWegener that it looks like the forks are Jap & I believe 350 Honda dual leading shoe brake wheels are 36 spoke, at least the one I have in my garage is. I can't see if yours are 36...
