No. I mean full dome as in not having the skirt around the perimeter that is required in a squish band engine. First pic is a 9:1 squish band piston (early engines). Second pic is a 9:1 'normal'...

9:1 was standard for the 'performance' T100 engines at the time. Did you confirm that you had full dome pistons in a squish band engine? Low compression, late T100 pistons will most likely still hit...

In my experience, forging alloys like to crack at the weld toe using ER70S-2. I've only kept it crack free with lots of pre- and post-heat. It can be pretty frustrating... And then you'll have time...

Just cut a new keyway 180 degrees out from original.

Edit: this will throw off your timing marks on a later engine so don't forget to re-mark the rotor.
