or you can apply air psi thru the bolt hole that MG45 Pete is referencing ! If nothing else that would get more penetrating oil into the bonded parts !!

Cut the lever off of your current kicker and weld on one that suits you ! Contact a good metal supplier and tell them what you want it for and they will sell you the appropriate size and material...

Shipmate in SC 1974 had a T100R with T140 top end !

Said he went with the T140 so the engine would still fit the original frame !

If you would prefer not to change carbs have you considered a "JB Weld" repair ? For small places like you have to fix on any alloy part it is hard to beat !!
