Early 80's Harley 10" rotors have a 2 3/8" center hole.
'85-'99 11 1/2" rotors have 2" center hole.
Bolt patterns are the same.

So I can run a centering ring in the old...

Is that a 10" front rotor in your first picture?
... was the hub width and bolt pattern on...

I could simply change the bearings to account for the axles.

When I hear "offset" I think of the offset where the wheel centerline is "offset" from the bike centerline (or front wheel center). ...

roadking mags on a old shovel? can I do it?

I have an 80s final chain drive shovel in a rigid frame, dual disk front end....my spoke wheels are fine, but I LOVE the 9 spoke mag wheels found on some Road Kings.

I just found a set brand new...

tack weld a nut to the easy out and then use a proper wrench to back it out?

And by looking at the size of that easyout, at this point I agree with "drill and tap" the hole.
