They look like big dome pistons, one looks used, are they stripping that engine I wonder.
Pics from mag I have show flat top pistons which are obviously supreme to a dome, hmmm.
Testing perhaps??...

Measure the play in cam/bush.
I needed new bushes due to changing IN cam 750 and the late 650 cam. For a 68 T120.
Loose EX cam affects ign.timing.

I did the weld a nut trick at work and even though the nut was new it still has lubricant or zinc, drill off the threads and clean surface of broken stud/bolt for a 'first time' weld fusion.

Can I call you Captain? Mate I actually did not install. I ground and polished a rocker arm that fine. I threw it in the scrap box, seriously though I just thought I went too far and started again...

Probably stolen in the past and re stamped. Bikes were re stamped to avoid wearing indicators too. My 68 is a 64, in Victoria bikes 65+ required blinkers.

Hmmm, I use pressed in aluminium stubs, works great. Take enough meat from head to acomodate thicker pipe, turn stub to nicely fit header or if making header expand to suit the stub.

Hey Mike check to see that the play is not an oval hole in the frame which holds it all together. My 68 was like that, big issue.

I tried that style on a test panel when I painted my first (and last) custom job. It's hard to get the knife to cut through the tape and not cut the paintwork beneath. Then to make it look acceptable...
