Lee built me one of those for my pan, and sinner1 built me the carbs. pretty tough LOOKIN setup, but i havent finished the bike so I cant say how it runs just yet. Should be fun to dial in!

good job. looks good.

what kind of front end you using that hub in? I got a star hub to work in a 35mm narrowglide front end by trimming the sliders a bit. thats pretty narrow!

18/4 on a star hub. took some machine work to get the hub to fit. the tire barely clears too. its snug but it looks cool.

Yes its gonna be both inner and outer spacers. I'm not sure if spacers from any kit can be used.. Its cheaper to make them or even have them made anyways.

I did this on a wishbone frame. Not only was there not a spacer kit that would fit but i ended up having to offset lace my rim 3/16th to get everything lined up properly. You can make it work but...

if you are talking about a complete, semi complete, or even a bunch of 1948 parts then it could be a great deal. you have to look at the condition of the parts, but if you had a good set of cases...
