Re: Panheads Forever - Hottest pans ever! PICS

Scott, I also really dig your bikes and the vision you have for them. A lot of bikes come and go on here, but I still miss this one, and it pops into my mind quite frequently...

Re: This is the designated "how much is it worth" thread.....

1970 T100R. I'm the 3rd owner- last registered in 1990. I have the front fender, Smiths gauges, and original handlebars as well.
The bike has its original ignition keys, owners maintenance manual...

Re: Lucas headlight switch?

I agree, Goldy. This switch already had a hard life before I got it- most of the switch lever is broken off. If I can clean/fix this original, I sure will try.

Lucas headlight switch?

Got back from a nice ride on my 70 T100r, and the original Lucas light switch would not turn the headlight off. High/low beam works, but the only thing that will completely turn off the headlight is...

Re: Ugly and Funny Bikes... the "Short Bus" of pic threads..

Perhaps designed to help propel the bike back to the mid nineties where that style was somehow popular??

Re: Amal 'Stay Up' float issue?

Exactly. I think it's due to the weight of the full brass valve to keep it closed. But if that's true, why do they sell the new float along with the viton valve as a 'kit'?

Amal 'Stay Up' float issue?

I've read bits and pieces on the net, and I've also read where Tony said that going with a Premiere carb might not be worth it.

So I've ordered two non premiere 626's as I love tinkering with...

Re: Ugly and Funny Bikes... the "Short Bus" of pic threads..

Here's another Dream in my Dad's old barn. Barn find?? Well, it was moved from a cinder block garage to this barn in 1981; like his 75 Ironhead, it has remained untouched. Already bobbed the rear...

Re: More pics of Lucky's Triumph

Vorhese, you missed this one- what makes this bike so damned appealing?? All I know is I snap up every picture of it I can; my Daytona 500 desperately wants to transform...

Re: 73 T100 Wont stay running.

swiseman, I learned that trick from JJ- has never let me down! The next maintenance item would be for you to drill the boss on the opposite side of that air/fuel port. After drilling, place an...

Re: 73 T100 Wont stay running.

Your pilot passage is clogged due to minute particulates in the orifice that set up over the winter. Can't clean it with carb spray, but easy enough to clean out with either the right tool, or...

Thumbs up Re: lets see some Ironhead pics

Is this an early original HD frame, or is this mostly just amazing fab work? Think it was a 69ish Ironhead motor that was placed in it?? Stellar bike!

Common reason for Trump broken motor mount?

I recently saw where the front left motor mount for my T100r was completely sheared off from the case. The right one is intact. Until I get it fixed during a motor rebuild, can the original rod be...

Tickler leaking intermittently

Thought I would throw out a possible solution to your leaky Amal. I haven't experienced this before- while idling, no leaks. But during a ride at different RPM's, I was getting a pretty good leak...

Re: I need help, Panhead will not start

Jeff, a lot of your symptoms point to timing/ignition in my opinion. Take into account that my experience is with a unit Triumph with all original points ignition/ Lucas electrics. My symptoms were...

Re: Triumph Picture Thread

BB, beautiful TR6. Are those stock rear shocks, and if so, what's the length eye to eye? Absolutely love that stance.
