I took the breaker distributor advance apart and it looks like there was some slight drag on the weights- small scrapesby looks of the bottom of the of the points plate and top of the weights it was...

panhead carb issues, ignition, timing

so heres the deal,
recent rebuild 1954 panhead.
super e brand new...
1.was running a 66main 28 inter
seemed to run well, but had sputtering at idle, and chrome was flaking on new pipes....

panhead 12 v battery?

I have the stock oil tank and need a 12v battery to fit in the old 6 v spot...anyone have any numbers to reference...i tried jp nothing, also interstate. the battery needs to be small enough yet...
