It's titled as a 1952 harley rebuilt but it's really a cone
Not a genny. I think it was a special construction and when it was imported they gave it a rebuilt title here. I'll post pics later...

Lookin at a shovel with aftermarket frame and motor. Pretty sure frame is paughco has the neck stamped starting with 1RT. The motor has FCM on the primary side and the numbers on the timing side...

Help lacing triumph hub to Harley 21" rim

Have a 67-70 twin leading shoe hub (8" full width with the lip on the brake side) and wondering do I need a rim with the 2-2 dimple pattern or will the 1-1 work?

and Tony sorry to hear about your loss, never easy and I can understand it turning you from motorcycles. But it's not "if" you go down it's a matter of "when" and the results can be catastrophic....

Tony, I had him do that and he said it made no difference. Going to try the hotwire "method" and see what happens. My main concern is that for positive ground it should be wired to the positive on...

Just to clarify it's a friends bike, this is the set up he has and it was dunking two years go before he took it apart and shelved it. He didn't mark stuff right and can't remember how it was hooked...

ok, helping a buddy to get his bike running and we're stumped. It has points, mighty max, and two 6v coils. It's wired, Mighty max (stator to mighty max, red to ground black to batt on key switch)...

I already know the coil gets really hot after running for awhile. I'll check the resistance on it anyways, if its crap ill switch from the single to the dual 6v setup. Thanks Tony

well I set the tweak bar at 20.5" and added more oil and it's better (even though the forks stick when you compress them). Will be changing oil out to a lighter weight tomorrow.
