Re: Might get aS&S super B. Thoughts? Pros? Cons?

A Super B with a Superbowl is a great setup, far better performing than an E on a shovel, in my experience. My 93 inch shovel chop ran a 12.90 1/4 and still got 50 mpg on the highway. Go for the B.

Re: 51' Panhead out of my element??? Help

If the guy told you it's stock, I'd be concerned he either knows nothing about old Harleys or is being dishonest. At first glance, the seat, front end, handlebars, rear wheel, pipes, risers, gas...

Re: AMA Vintage Flat Trackl Report

Yeah, attendance at most vintage flattrack races is pitiful. There's usually only a handful of people in the stands, and many of them are racers between races. The only races that draw a crowd are...

Re: Question about unusual knuck distributor

It's a timer, not a distributor. It doesn't distribute; it times the spark.

Re: solid-state relay for a 2-brush 12V BT generator?

Looks cool, but I wonder about heat and electronics. The Cycle Electric setup has a big heat sink on the regulator; this one doesn't look to have one.

solid-state regulator for a 2-brush 12V BT generator?

I want to run a solid-state regulator on my pan which has a 12V 2-wire generator. I already have the generator and don't want to spend $$ on a Cycle Electric gen/regulator. I see Vtwin sells a...

That's too pretty to get blasted with gravel. Looks identical to a KR except the motor. Nice work.
