yea i do the spacer as well its to try and keep it round and at the same time tight enough

tedds stuff has in SOME cases gotten somewhat better - replica line was put together just for that...

sealing gaskets and threads we use yamma bond 4 OR the right stuff gray - its semi hardening and does a great job on dissimilar contact surfaces

ok my guess your loosing the top end vacuum - what is that - that is -- the breather valve evacuates the oil from the spring bottoms - when this ( does not happens ) the valve guide gets flooded and...

if you have a tank that supports a petcock on both sides like a brit bike y it to the single line to carb

pull the bowl and cork the bottom - fill it with water even and see if the float is side...

the german 8mm hose we use that on all race stuff - its nitrile rubber resists heat better then other type rubber hoses - up to 50 Psi todays gas and diesel - its not the same as neoprene rubber that...

petcock is what - usa or some china crap that the rubber in the petcock made from used condoms is swelling up and blocking the fuel from flowing

when having the box on a vise on the bench we always check that they shift and they do

the first think i would look at is the shift mechanism ( cam plate ) pressing up or down on the shift hats...

while that idea seems correct - the pistons we have been seeing are lighter then the ones from years ago - and that changes things - the question becomes is - the balance was it done by S&S at 60...

S&S has helped in the cast piston as its the same piston for 3 strokes

so the longer stroke has the least compression and the short has the most

can if you need the number but i believe its...

agree - the knuckle we did last was a 4 5/8 stroke 3 7 /16 bore and we made it 8 to 1

guy had 10 to 1 pistons for many years like you but today the gas is not good iron top end

you wont be...

zel on the jugs is a re pop cylinder most were 3 1/2 bore and 4 1/4 stroke makes it an 80 inch as harley counts it

nothing wrong with that if its a kick start it will start - as a stroker more...

58 to 62 uses a 1 1/2 diameter wheels cylinder

63 to 72 uses a 1 1/4 diameter wheel cylinder --

both with the same size master 3/4 inch...

they were iffy in the castings - not all some of them my guess the one you have is ok - any of the cases can be modded for stroker wheels its in the spicket entrance and exit as well as the center -...
