Re: 1955 Triumph T100/R Dirt-tracker

I think it will go on a homage build, not so much a bitsa, more...

Re: Just picked up a BSA trials bike for free, looking for some info on it.

Has it ever had a kickstart on it? The case looks undrilled, might be something special, an even better score in that case.

Re: Bsa a7 1947

Same as that Goldy!
Enzo that is what they call a Long stroke A7, (1946 - 1950)parts are not easy to get for the engine. The gearbox and the rest of the bike is not so much of a problem.

Re: Look what followed me home! 1964 Bonneville

Yeah I second that E-man, plungers were never any good when they were good!
I must be getting too old for this shit now as I also agree that a stock rear sub-frame is the way to go. A matching # '64...

Re: Triumph Question

I'm kinda toying with the idea of getting one as the daily work horse, but don't know diddly about 'em. I understand that very under stressed equates to slow, but just how slow is slow?
Spares...

Re: Pre unit Triumph 6T bottom end strength? with more pics

Mismatched half numbers are not the end of the world, there are plenty out there running like that. The lack of the big bearing on the timing side is a problem as it limits the crank options...

Re: Pre unit Triumph 6T bottom end strength?

You've got the post '54 motor which has the larger timing side main which is the one you want. The cases will handle the modifications you are considering without a problem if the motor is put...

Re: 1955 Triumph T100/R Dirt-tracker

Are you sure the RR was fitted with an E37? There's no mention in the parts list of one being issued in 57. If it's a non rearset frame where would it be fitted? There is no room in the normal...
