When i ran a Blue- Arc on a generator Shovel drag bike I used VW points, the ones with a stripe on the wire were the hipo ones or so I was told. This was in the 90s

Old HI-4 single fire wiring

If I took a frame to some one to have it worked on for any reason and they used a torch for anything other than heating I would find some one else!

His first name escapes me but he was from Mulvane, KS. The guy I always dealt with was Paul Raberding from Harper KS, he waqs the sales, ordering guy The last set I got from them was in 1994 or so....

Not sure about drilling and re-tapping a hole that already to big, but if you get a 5/16 Helicoil you can tap it and install it!

There needs to be a "L" shaped key behind the sprocket, that one side fits into the main drive gear spacer and the other end goes into the mainshaft. Your manual shows it, you do have one dont you?

Yes it can, just use one of the terminals on each side, ignore the other two. I built a 53 with one of those coils 8 or so years ago, has around 10,000 miles on it no problems

I believe the four terminal coil is a police, military coil, it works just like the other one, Roach, Panhead 61-64 coils are round, 2 required for the dual points!

Poole was from Texas as I remember, they also made some circuit breakers for generator motors as well as other stuff, I had one on a drag bike back around 1989. I will look and see if I can find...
