Re: 68’ T120 with a CB350 front end.

I think a better choice would be a 35mm Honda 450 (DOHC), 500/550 or 750 fork. Buy the 1" conversion cups and bearings from LowBrow. Send the clamps to Red at CycleOne and have a 1" stem installed....

Re: Lets get the record straight, LOWBROW.

People forget that Vaughn Beals was Vice President of AMF until the buy out in 81. He made this statement in response to criticism of AMF by various motorcycle magazine editors, Phil Schilling in...

Re: Skinny swing-arm gennie shovel+pan chops

I don't know where I got the picture. I'd guess Irish Rich might have posted it as he is a fan of Hirsch's bikes too. The LowBrow bike is just about what I had pictured. Add some mag wheels and it...

Re: Skinny swing-arm gennie shovel+pan chops

I like Hirsch's shovel, actually like all his bikes. I'd like to do a more modern version and use a set of 19/18" mags, Sportster struts and a bobbed Sportster rear fender, Lowbrow WX split gas...

Re: 5 snap face shields

LOL! I don't wear that AGV helmet and have not worn it in 40 years. It is a display piece. I currently wear a new full face helmet made by Scorpian. I was a paramedic/EMT when I was younger. I...

Re: 50fl

Like the risers! Spools are cool but in Maryland, I'd probably run the 21" mini drum.

Re: 2020 Idle Thoughts Are The Devil's Playground

I've got cabin fever since everything has been cancelled or postponed. I've got most of the parts and a whole lot of time to mess with them.

I think this might be the same bike several years...

Re: 5 snap face shields

J&P and Amazon have an Echo flat 5 snap shield. The snaps holes are slotted for universal fit. I bought one from Amazon for a 40 year old AGV helmet. I have no idea if it will fit the Bell but the...

2020 Idle Thoughts Are The Devil's Playground

Most of you have seen Billy Ray's Hells Angels photos published by Life Magazine in 1965. If not, here's a link...

Re: 50fl

I remember those fenders in some of the chopper catalogs and magazine ads. I had a 47 Chief with a cut down front fender on the rear and that fender closely resembled it. Nice to see the frame...

Re: Springer ID

The company Butts Manufacturing was in Bakersfield. I think the owner was Gene Butts and he made fiberglass tanks/fenders, handlebars and the springers. The springers are supposed to be high...

Re: Sportys with wassell banana tank?

A little more information please? What year Sportster i.e. Ironhead or Evo. Stock or custom frame? I have a LowBrow 2.6 here and can check it on a couple of Ironhead frames (73 & 79) if that will...

Re: 80" Super Magnum motor build

Somewhere I have a picture of a shovel top, UL cased bike built by a Cleveland HA in the mid 80s. It was made from a bunch of parts he scrounged and was called the 80-80-80. 80" cases, 80" Shovel...

Re: 80" Super Magnum motor build

Here's a picture of the bike featured in Supercycle magazine years ago. UL with shovel top. I believe it is the same motor in the thread posted by Rys. Glad to see you back!

Re: Sprung cobras

Eventually one of two things usually happens. The seat pan flexes until it breaks or the rear fender mount gets pulled out of the fender. Look at the design and think about it for a moment.
