The 2 systems I recommended are solid for use here in AHRMA and lots of guys I know use em too.
**No Batteries..they are proper magneto systems just not in the old mag housing

I imagine if gives the oil a clean path to travel rather than on the sludge... In theory of course
I felt all the tube did was speed up the blocking process. What is the real reason for the tube?...

...rim strips are all the same to me. I grab a handful anytime I'm at the bike shop and they are always cheap. In a pinch and recommended by most manufacturers is elec tape

I run bike master and irc. This might be like a "what oil do you use" thread. Never had a problem with these in years of dirt and high speed street riding... Most of the time both

I'm sorting a 68 Triumph front hub and I always ask myself this, every time I do this. I have done it both ways:
Clean bearings and inner hub area, repack bearings only and re assemble

It's never too rough. I'm a Brit bike freak. All the bits you need are easy to get and still available new. Do your homework before pulling the trigger on a part. Sometimes prices are way too high....

Super common for an OIF Beezer to pinch the harness on the left side of the neck at the steering stop. I have 2 and both did the same thing. Strip back the sheath and take a look. Hope this helps
