Just my opinion...Keep looking for what you want. I definitely think you can easily find a 60's Triumph unit in running condition for a couple G's and then modify it/ bob it /chop it/ or stock it...

Looks like someone definitely did some work on the neck, and filled in under the tank area with sheet metal. I would check out what the frame and engine codes are and then try to find some specs....
