Santa Cruz Superlight - Biography
- Started getting bored, so I decided that I needed to do something with my hands, a mate of mine got a Barron Speed Shop 'Street Scrambler' which looksed sooo sweet I went out and brought a box of knackered bits and a 1964 TR6SR hardtail frame with the intention of doing a part restoration, part bobber look, made a few costly mess ups but it seemed to turn out fine in the end. Then I had to spend a show prize voucher from Ride Wright Wheels... I tried to sell it on E Bay but didn't get any offers so I told the Misses it was fate and I had to buy a Harley to use the wheels on! I spent ages looking for a Pan or Gene Shovel but their not easy to come by so I ended up with a tired 1980 FLH to play with...
