- Born the same week the famous drunk on a knucklehead Holister photo was in Life magazine, late July 1947. (also same month Jack Keroak left to go "On The Road") Graduated HS, and got 1st bike, 1965. 1st Harley ('48EL) in 1967. Small club Patchholder late '60's '70's. Club now defunct. First job in motorcycles, BSA wrench, 1970. 20 years working aftermarket shop, parts counter. 7 years HD dealer, parts counter. Fired by new Yuppie owner. (first, they were scared of us, then they wanted to be us, now they're trying to push us out the back door.) Now retired early (economy) from long time family owned HD dealership.
