- Started wrenching professionally at 14 in a junk yard, way below minimum wage but all the free parts I could use and all the experience I could ask for.
Stint in the U.S. Army, helicopter mechanic.
Aircraft mechanic for years, built B-1 Bombers, job shopped, worked at the TWA overhaul base till I got laid off from that. I got tired of moving all over the country chasing work. Moved to heavy trucks and been there ever since. Hey, bolts is bolts ya know.
