- I have always had a love for anything with a motor be it a car, bike, airplane, boat ........ whatever ....... I guess you can call me a MACHINE HEAD ....... I love to ride them, fix them, or just admire them!! I have owned a Jap sport bike since 2001 before that I owned a Puch moped which i was destined to modify in some way and in the process severly cut my right index finger. Soo I laid back for a little while and while in college picked up a '95 Kawasaki ZX6R .... I was going to do a nice new rebuild and paint job, but that didnt happen due to money and other issues. I sold that bike in May 2006 and purchased a 1999 Yamaha YZF-R6 a week later. Being happy with this nice new to me bike I proudly rode around for a month or so. But me being a have to change and personalize everything kind of person, I took it off the road to do a little mod to it. I ended up taking the whole bike apart and powder coating the frame red to match the red/white/black color scheme of the bike. The night I finished putting it together and riding it up to the gas station for a fill up I already received compliments on it. Since then I still receive many compliments on that bike. 2008 I purchased a 2006 Kawasaki ZX6R 636 from a friends roomate ..... not that I wanted another JAP bike but it was a deal I could not refuse. In 2010 I acquired a new neighbor and come to find out he was into bikes ..... little did I know he would get me into bobber style bikes. It just so happen he is what I would say a Guru of this type of bike. After seeing his bikes I fell in LOVE with one in particular which is known as the Rusty Triumph built by Steve Hatcher. Since then I said my next bike would be a Triumph bobber. So after a year I saved enough money and purchased a 1971-72 OIF BSA Lightning from BOB in Edgewater,FL. And well now this is my new project ! So hence the name BeenHatched. I can only hope to produce a bike as nice as his Sportster or Triumph.
