- Before I decided to get old and ride a BMW, I always had Triumphs -- about a dozen of them -- and, when I was a kid, Harleys: a '47 EL, a 40-something 45, and a '56 FL. Since I started riding BMWs I've put more than a million miles on just three bikes. When I was young I worked for Ron Finch as a painter and inker. He's a good guy.
