- Started riding at 5 on a Honda CT70, had that until I was 16 and bought a 72 CB350. Various 70's Honda's until the 72 Commando (damn thing still in Canada). Bought a 78 Yamaha XT500 when I moved to Australia 3 years ago and now have a shed full of 500's bits and bobs, absolutely love them. Have a BSA Bantam to keep the Brit flavour (cost me a case of beer). Gathering parts to turn the XT into a street custom as I now have a new Gas Gas EC300 (only modern bike ever owned) for the dirt.
