Amazing show again! There was just so much going on, I didn't even come close to seeing every bike. There was so much rad shit there, It was just maximum overload on the brain. Thanks again to Mike and Grant for putting on another amazing show.
Not the best pics. It was hard to get some decent shots, To many people. For those that couldn't make it...... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those are ALL very cool, but if I might toss my feather-like opinion out there, Cro's bike REALLY stands out without going to a gaudy level.
Cool stuff. Thanks!

Thanks Louie! Reminds me of walking the parking lots of the bike meets in the late '60s early '70's. Back then there was a lot of innovation because there wasn't any catalog parts. Now it looks like a lot of innovation beyond the catalog crap. Once again it's a great time to be a lover of custom bikes.

thanks for all the pics Louie...every year something seems to conflict with me making it down there and this year was no exception..relatives in town from back east so I was going no where...I think my favorite(if thats possible) was the knuck with what looked like an oil cooler copper coil plumbed to the back wheel which looked like it actually used the air generated from the wheel rotating to cool the coils with the cylinders that looked like some type of aircraft??..would love to know the story behind all that...I guess now its back to putting it on the calender for next year and planning carefully so I don't miss it again...;-)

Glad I did not miss this years show. I went to the 1st and 2nd one, missed last years. I tell ya, it was a BLAST! Great seeing old friends of mine I have not seen in couple years...Scott Craig, Rene Astengo many others that I saw for brief moments oh, and that one HOSER that was there all the way from B.C. Great seeing ya Rick. All the bikes from the special show builders to those that were out in the field to those that were parked driven to the show, the venders, the bands that played. Grant Peterson and Mike Davis, thank you both for making special memorable times like this for us all to remember and enjoyed...Lairdog, thanks for posting the pics you are doing, lets me see the bikes I did not see, what a blast it was, eh? oops. Forgot to give props on pics "LOUIE" posted as well

How come when there is a thread with lots of pics per page I can't see the ones towards the bottom? I love looking at little blue question marks but not as much as born free bikes! No one else has that problem?

Thank you guys for all the pictures, it's very nice for people like me who can't attend the show.
Forgive my ignorance but how do you achieve such a result on those rear axle plate castings ? It doesn't look like chrome to me... Is it nickel plating? Do you do that before powder coat, or after? (I guess before and protect during powdercoating, but just to make sure) My other question about this rear juice brake is where is it lock ? (the drum) It's not in the stock upward position, kinda twisted, and I don't see the bolt supposed to hold it... Vins |

Looks like they could be Baxter Jackrabbits. I have Zombie Performance Nomads on mine. They are upsweeps too but 3 piece and not quite as up there. They aren't uncomfortable like you would think. I even have a permanently broken wrist bone working against me.

Lots of great pics and bikes, thanks for posting Louie and everyone else. Sugar Bears is for me the stand out and defines a cool useable chopper. Never get sick of seeing that.

I was wondering about the 23" ribbed tire myself. I thought that was a 21" though but if that's a 23" ribbed?! Please let me know too! I'm slowly build a 23" wheel myself.

I'd say the same about guys running rabbit ears with extreme pullback, elbows down in their laps. It's just another variation in the long line of chopper aesthetics. As far as the Matic goes, me and my buds thought it'd be fun to take such a maligned "bike" and do it up for this show. Didn't you know? Hondamatics are the new Swazi..

Wow. What a show! Lot's of crazy and innovative ideas. Almost sensory overload! Thanks for the pics, Louie! I got space in my garage for that silver Kaw H1 speedway looking thing. I bet that bike is a hoot to ride. Thanks again! Bummed I missed this show.
