The top hub is the 1974 style and the bottom is from 1971-73. You can use the bearing spacer and the inner support ring (under the drive side bearing) from the newer hub in the older one. However the drive side bearing in the older hub is known for coming loose. A 6204 bearing (and good luck finding an American made one) should be a light press fit into a cold hub, if it drops down to the support ring with a clunk or you can feel a lip about a 1/4" from the bottom of the bearing bore, where the bearing has hogged out the hub, you may be out of luck.
