started out life, not running. (got it cheap!) Early 1984 IH
![]() fixed the charging system, clutch basket and carb and it ran like a champ within 3 days. picked up a wide glide front end and 21" rim and tire from the same guy later that fall, also for cheap! ![]() got a flat tire so i swapped out the back wheel and tire for one i had sitting around for my triumph project, took a saws all to the seat and made the passenger seat detachable, threw the sissy bar in the garage. ![]() bobbed the rear fender while my friend tim threw my velocity stack on. ![]() shortly after this i had put a new tank on and didnt have much gas and was on my way to the gas station and ran out about 1000' from the station. i was pushing my bike and a car went on the other side of the white line and ran me over, so i had to take the whole summer and winter off from working on the bike. After spending the past 6 weeks getting paint, new cams, tappets, blocks, pushrods, seat and slamming it with some old chain i welded up. here it is now, but its ever changing. ![]()

the car totally missed my bike and hit me directly. i took out my forward controls with my leg and put a dent in my tank with my elbow as the car pulled my down and thats pretty much it.

Hope the offending cage, had to empty his wallet to keep you whole. At least he hit you, and not the bike.

im getting ready to get my 3rd lawyer. nobody is doing their job, and my first lawyer messed up my case pretty good by not getting the video tape of the guy at the local golf resort drinking all night.
im pretty much all good now, still have a limp and cant move my left foot very well...other than that im getting better. |
