Is this possible? Are They only for hardtails? Everytime I come across one I want they say "I no, you cant put that on a swing-arm suspension." I dont see why not.....

I bought one thinking it was for a rigid but its for a swingarm. It is with a large pile of parts that I've been collecting (that will not work or just didn't look the way I wanted it to be) putting together my latest build. It is a vintage narrow seat that is in the for sale pile.
