Carlsbad is great. As you know its like being on vacation all year round. And YES I frequent Hensleys, The Village Pub, Cantina, Dinis, Etc. I frequent Henslesy about 3 times a week. Went there last night and had the two for one pizza deal. PM me and can talk that way. Cheers buddy!!

Ralix13 I miss the golden coast, I really do.
I am promising myself that I will fire up the ol' Matchless this weekend & get out - there comes a point where being forced to postpone riding every week cuz of the weather becomes as bad as being strung out - (so I'm told)..

Rode today - 1st ride this year due to so much salt on the roads after our freeze in december.. Only a small 50 miler. I haven't been able to wipe the smile off my face yet & I've been back 2 hours - nature's Prozac is motorcycle riding! The lil Matchless was pulling well too - it's 12 deg C here today (sorry we're in new money for temps..) BUT a very strong wind - I was all over the shop on some of the exposed sections of road but a great feeling and my cheeks are still glowing ALL 4 OF THEM..
bILLY

I usually ride through the winter but this year is imposible too much ice on my driveway and the road I live on. If it was just snow I could ride on it but I run a rocker clutch so keeping your feet down and feathering the clutch is a problem.

This winter has been brutal for us in New York!!! I'm not talking about Upstate New York where you expect it to snow this much. Last year we had a fair amount of snow but the few years before that I was able to ride through the whole winter without too much trouble.

We had a lot of snow come early this winter. It's not any colder but the last few years seem to have more snow followed by a wetter spring resulting in floods. I was driving back from Bismarck last week and saw a guy on a full dress HD going west on I-94. It was in the low 20's. I also saw a guy on a Ural in Minneapolis over the weekend while downtown for the International MC show. But that's about it for guys I've seen riding. If you do ride in cold weather, make sure the trip is long enough to get your engine hot to drive all the condensation out.
