Prayers for him and his loved ones. Who's gonna yell at us when someone wants to stamp thier Vin number in a homemade or aftermarket frame? Never met ya, but gonna miss ya! Godspeed.

I got a lot of great technical advice from him. I hope one day to know half of what he knew. Godspeed Doug.

Personally didn't like him for the last year or so, and he made no secret that he wasn't fond of me, but it's sad to see people leave.

for once in my life I am speechless. I am one of the ones who liked to poke fun at Dragon and we called it busting balls he would PM me some shit about it but I think he got a kick out of some of my smart ass comments. I always know though if I posted a serious bike question he'd chime in with the answer. Well Bro I guess you got the last laugh It's back to the manuals for us. He is missed already. RIP Bro.

Wow. He will be missed by many. His knowledge of all motorcycles has been very helpful. Ive learned many things from him in the short time ive been on here. Ive also been barred from here by him on a viable point on his part. Thank you for everything Dragon. Rest in peace.

Wow, I know he gave a lot of guys a lot of grief, but there was always a lesson to learn from it. Personally, I've had MANY great transactions and interactions with him. I know he was staying busy taking care of his mother as well, hope she has more family and friends nearby. Sad to hear the news.

i just got in from a road trip and one of the things i was thinking about while running down the hiway was how many good friends i've lost. i even called one of my oldest still living friends and we reminisced and swapped stories about our missing brothers, remembering the good times and silly shit and plans that never went anywhere.
now i have to add doug to the list we had our good times and our bad but you always knew where he stood and he defineately knew his shit.say hi to indian larry and dave mann for us doug. God speed

I was just cursing him the other day too. Man he would irritate me sometimes. Ofcourse, He had so much knowledge and experience. He knew his stuff thats for sure.
I was wondering why I had not gotten a reply back, which was unlike him. The guy probably got 1000's of complaints, questions, threats everyday, but he would always get back to you. That one left me perplexed, now I know. RIP Doug, Keep all the JJ'ers inline while your there. I will toast one to you tonight, even though I wasnt going to have any. Hodge |
