A tire you might consider when it come time to run some dirt is the Michelin AC10. DOT street legal, but aggressive enough to deal with all offroad soils from hard rock to dry sand. Road manners are good, but watch your ass when the road is wet. Price isnt bad either, I run them on my dual sport appliance.
Helluva build, lemme know when you want to play off road, I know some people!
