seems to be the new theme, build a crappy bike- cover it with bodywork, paint with some horrific scheme so that people take one look and it hurts so bad they turn around and walk away-- keeps people from getting close enough to see how bad the bike really is built

I had a guy come into the shop and want me to install the same setup on a stock frame. I tried my best to explain to him the problem, but he was thick as a stump. So I finally just told I wouldn't do it unless we cut the frame and did it the right way. That was too expensive, so he takes off.

2 months later he comes back with the bike looking just like the one in the picture. And now he wants me to add a steering stabilizer because it goes into a tank slapper at 80+ mph.

Here is another example of ugly & unsafe levels of negative trail. He's not on his way to the monthly HOG meeting (wrong brand), therefore he must be on his way to a gay porn convention.
