thanks, I've read the article at the beezer board before. I'm looking for experiences like GumbyChuck's. My Amals are shot, and I cant deal anymore.

Fought an amal for a long time. Bought the JRC, took it out of the box and installed it. Bike fired up and idled immediately. I did play with the jetting a bit - extra jets were sent with my kit. Works fine, last long time.

I love mine. Bolted it on and it started first kick and idled great. They are just Kehin flat slides with an adaptor. My CR125 has the same carb from the factory.

Are you guys still running these? Are they holding up? I've been looking around for them online but not finding much, have they been re-branded or something? Thanks.

only problem I've had with mine so far, is the needle valve sticking once in a awhile on one of the carbs, and pissin fuel everywhere (could just be dirt keeping it open also). But otherwise run great from start-up/idle to wide open.

I use them all the time, they are great, no hassle carbs.... Nice tight throttle response also... I have had a few leak out of the overflow hose but nothing major... Awsome carbs, and a good price.. Cant beat them odds...

Made by 'PWK' (actually Keihin, with Keihin-numbered jets), sold by 'JRC'.

Info and jet numbers etc here -

I have had a pair on an A65 for about 3 years. Easiest starting English bike I've ever known since I put em on. I think they are kinda ugly and feel cheap in your hand.......bought them when new concentrics were clear up to around $200 per. Got these for $100 each.

After putting them on, one was overflowing so I reached over and tapped the float bowl with screwdriver handle. It broke like an egg! Dealer sent me a new bowl, no problems since then. I wouldn't mind a couple more for the collection.

I've since sold the bike but I did have some problems with the float sticking too. Flooded the bike several times.

Any of you guys having issues with the intake flanges leaking? I'm getting bad intake leaks between the flange and the carb. I sealed one with some gasket sealer, then the other one started leaking, sealed that one and now the first one's leaking again.

I've read somewhere that people are getting these carbs with the flanges pre-glued, mine just has the two tiny useless set screws, no sealant or glue, maybe an early version? And have also seen them with thicker flanges.

Anybody figured out a fix for this? or even having issues? I'm ready to JB weld the flanges and be done with it.

Lately they come with the flange JB Welded (or some simlar epoxy) in addition to the two set screws. You probably do have an early one, as JRC stated the leakage was why they started gluing them on.

alright, good to know, the JB weld's drying as I speak. Figured I'd give it a shot, not much to lose at this point
Thanks
