thanks! it was probably a stupid newbie question.. but hey ho! i won't know if I dont ask..

I almost need a stock sporty next to mine so I know where stuff goes and how to do some bits..
I couldnt really see on the frame where a top engine mount would be fitted, so that's why the question..

Thanks man, your ride is damn tight too. The seat is great, it isn't a mustang pillow but it did good on its 260 mile maiden voyage this past Sunday.

Spent that's a sweet looking ironhead! You have any more pics? I like the shade of blue with the brown leather seat.

Jtw79, thanks man. The seat is actually italian leather my buddy had leftover from a vintage Ferrari resto. Came out bitchin, especially considering that he didn't charge me. Good to have talented friends, I guess. Heres a few more of the bike:

Awesome! Really like the right side shot, it just screams stripped down hot rod.

Done as of yesterday.. I am sick of this hunk of shit.. Used the sporty tank from my triumph that blew up, it seemed to make it work..

I made it 2 miles until it decided to break down, always electrical on these things, one damn line shorts out and your bike decides to go into safety mode or something

specs are -
1980 engine with rebuilt internals from all years of the 70s
bird hardtail
shortened forks
factory 21 with excessive juice brakes up front and a motocross tire
super e with a v stack (which likes to randomly leak excessively)
some forum bought exhaust
moon oil tank
Burned and blown up sporty tank with repop badges
steering with pangea
and the only thing I'm proud of is some old rear rusted fender I found which I was able to mount perfectly strutless

I see a lot of pretty in this thread but I make my children very ugly

Looking good! I like the dual discs, fender, and burned up tank. I'd move the coil to the left of the top motor mount to clean up under the tank though. What's the problem, just a short wire?
